Dance A Thon 2024

The Friends of Mike Mountain Horse Society is excited to announce our third annual
HALLOWEEN DANCE-A-THON! This fun-filled event will raise funds to support our amazing
school.
On Thursday, October 31st, students are invited to come in costume and enjoy some spooky
fun in the gym during their scheduled dance time. DJ Chris Fakir from Prime Entertainment will
be providing the tunes, and for a $2.00 donation at the door, families are welcome to join their
student(s) for the dance session.
This is a pledge-based fundraiser! Students can collect flat-rate donations, which can be
submitted through School Cash Online or by sending cash/cheque in the provided envelope to the school. Please make cheques payable to Friends of Mike Mountain Horse Society.
Every pledge counts! Students who participate will help their class compete for one of two pizza
parties. There are also exciting prizes, including:
● MMH School Swag
● The chance to be Principal for the Day
● The opportunity to pie four teachers during the November assembly if the school raises
$5,000!
And for the top fundraiser, a special lunch with Mrs. Taylor!
A dance schedule will be shared in the coming weeks. Please ensure all donations are collected
and submitted by Thursday, October 31st.
Preschool and kindergarten students who attend school on Monday/Wednesday are welcome to
join their class in the gym during their dance time.
